Watch Victory

In 1913, Alex Heist (William Defoe) has found himself living on a relatively secluded island near Indonesia after a business deal that went wrong. He visits a nearby island and sees the performance of an all female orchestra. The hotel owner is the racist and sexist German Schlomberg. One night Schlomberg works out a deal with the orchestra owner, San Giamaco, to sell one of the girls, Alma, to him as part of a prostitution deal. Alma comes to Heist and begs him to help her and save her from this life. He agrees and they attempt to escape back to his island, but not without much difficulty.
