This 1926 silent western centers around Barbara Worth (Vilma Banky), a rancher's daughter living the American Southwest. Raised from an orphan in her small desert community, Worth finds herself at crossroads when she must choose between two lovers. One is a local cowboy who has pined over her for years. The other is an engineer hired to build an irrigation system that will help turn the desert town into a garden paradise.

The film is based on the 1911 best-selling novel by Harold Wright.
