Watch The Last Lieutenant

The Last Lieutenant is a 1993 Norwegian film. The story takes place during World War II. Nazi invaded Norway and Denmark on April 9, 1940 in an operation called Operatoin Weserubing. The hero of the film is a retired sea Captain named Lt. Thor O. Hannevig. Lt. Hannevig res the Norwegian Army to fight the Germans. The Norwegian forces are easily overwhelmed by their superior adversary. The older Lieutenant is first met with laughter by the younger soldiers. They soon recognize that he has strong leadership skills and seasoned experience. He continues leading against crushing odds and dwindling numbers.
