This is a dramatic movie about an ant trying to save a large family business. LEDA is a giant farming business. It is owned by Amanzio Rastelli. He wants this to be the important business in his family, and he puts as many relatives in managerial positions as he possibly can. As a group, they make decisions on where to take the business.

One of the non-family is the ant. Ernesto Bolta is a man who knows his numbers and has been in business for many years. He sees that the business will fail unless drastic measures are taken. This ant will tally up everything he can to save the company.
