Watch The Hairy Ape

The hairy Ape is a move about a brief encounter between a New York socialite and an over bearing, egotistical steam freighter pitchman. Afterwards he was not at all the same. The movie documents the rough lives of steamship pitchmen, their struggle to keep the speed of the ship up to the captain’s standard and how their lives leave no room for a family. With few options to be entertained the steamship pitchmen rely on barhopping and the occasional all out brawl.

While attempting to make the trip back to New York City as much of a pleasure as possible, Mildred the high-class socialite uses her good looks and charming smile to have her way, only to dispose people when she no longer has any use for them. This caused her friend of many years, to demonstrate her disapproval. The movie ends on an unpredictable twist, leaving the viewer wishing for a part two.
