Watch Rapt

A high profile businessman, Stanislas is kidnapped and held for ransom. His finger is mailed to his family with the kidnappers demands. The family runs into problems with the police and his associates when they try to raise the ransom money. While Stanislas is kept in darkness, given little food and in constant fear of his life, the media is relating details of his life. There are stories about his mistresses and gambling habits revealed. His wife and daughters are traumatized and his work associates use the information to turn their backs on him.

Stanislas's trauma does not end with his release, his life has been turned upside down and he finds himself an outcast.
