Charlie Sheen stars in this thriller set in Scotland about a profiler suspected of murdering women in the city of Glasgow. The film starts with the arrival of James McGregor in Glasgow, a former San Francisco detective who has now become a celebrity because of his talent for profiling serial killers. Despite his talent, McGregor is struggling to cope with his celebrity lifestyle and has begun drinking heavily. The trip to Scotland is a bid to trace his Scottish roots, but problems quickly arise when McGregor is faxed the obituary of an unknown woman. Ignoring the fax, McGregor continues with his vacation until he is arrested as a suspect in the death of the woman in the obituary, faced with the problem of being a suspect McGregor quickly uses his skills to help the Scottish police track down the real killer. At every step of the investigation the clues seem to point to McGregor himself, who must use all his experience to prove his own innocence by catching the serial killer.
