Later, Karthik gets a job in a city, and Keerthi accompanies him after convincing her parents. In the city, Karthik introduces his girlfriend to his best friend who falls for her. Keerthi also starts liking Karthik's friend and starts spending more time with him. This leads to misunderstandings between Karthik and Keerthi, and they start drifting apart.
Amidst all these complications, Vineetha enters the scene as Karthik's colleague, and she tries to impress him with her charm. But, Karthik does not entertain her advances as he is still in love with Keerthi. However, this causes Keerthi to doubt Karthik once again, and she decides to leave him.
