Navy Heroes Of Normandy is a documentary film that was released in 2008. The film follows the attempt to construct a monument for the US Navy sailors who took part in the landings. The monument was the first to commemorate the sailors who took part in the landing, and required a huge amount of work to raise the funds to do so. The film then interviews several of the sailors who took part in the landing. This included sailors who drove amphibious ships, cargo ships between Britain and , and worked on combat ships that shelled Normandy before and after the landings.
