Watch Mondays in the Sun

Mondays in the Sun is a Spanish, dramatic film which focuses on a number of unemployed shipyard workers as they fall into the depths of continued unemployment. Released in 2002 and distributed in the U.S. by Lions Gate, the movie follows the unemployed workers as they deal with disintegrating family lives and daily conversations as they spend time at the local bar and an area overlooking the water. Mondays in the Sun was nominated for two Academy Awards. One for Best Director and the other for Best Original Screenplay.
