Watch La Chambre obscure

This romance tells the story of a 14th century woman Alienor, who is an expert in healing the locals of her area through her skills with herbs and plants. Alienor works her healing magic on a boil that is threatening the health of the King and is rewarded with her choice of husbands from the royal court. Choosing a count named Bertrand as her husband the healer finds her new spouse is unhappy with the match and refuses to spend time with his new wife.
