In this German-made drama, a glassblower dies unexpectedly, taking with him the secret of how to make a special red glass, for which his town is famous. The town is devastated by his death, and the head of the glassforming company is now facing an awful predicament: how to recreate the lost recipe for the glass, restore his company, and save his town from despair and possible financial ruin?
