"El Dorado" is a Spanish language film from the year of 1988. Its narrative concerns an expedition of conquistadors during the mid-1500s, leading them along the Amazon and the Orinoco, in order to locate El Dorado, the legendary golden city of paradise. While the soldiers brought along followers and family , the sojourn soon devolves into madness and fighting against the jungle and against their own people.
