After going through a tough time after his father loses his job, Mickael finds some peace with the high school judo team and in the arms of his girlfriend, Vanessa. The wealthier and smarter Clement s the team and brings his father along as the sponsor of the team. Acting as Clement's mentor, Mickael begins to allow the other teenager into his world and begins to see Clement as a threat to the small pieces of happiness he clings onto.
