Children is a 1976 British drama film that explores the bleak reality of life in a deprived area of Liverpool. The film follows the lives of three teenage boys; Jamie (Phillip Mawdsley), John (Nick Stringer), and Tom (Andrew Steen), who struggle to find their way in the world amid the poverty, violence and desperation of their surroundings.

Tom, the youngest of the three, is a sensitive and artistic boy who is constantly bullied by his peers. As he tries to navigate his way through adolescence, he finds solace in his drawings, which offer him a temporary escape from his troubles.
