Calendar Girl is a 1947 American romantic comedy film. The plot revolves around two friends that move to New York City in 1900 to find their fortune. One of them dreams of becoming a famous composer and the other a painter. At the boarding house where they live is the girl of both their dreams. Both of the friends vie for her attention. The artist paints a racy portrait that upsets the girl’s father but wins her a starring role in a Broadway play. This leads to conflict, not only between the friends, but with the girl they both care for.
