The group faces many challenges and obstacles during their quest, including an evil sorceress, a horde of zombies, and the deadly Blood Scarab itself.

As the group faces each trial, they begin to realize that there is something greater at play. They discover that the scarab holds not only the secret to eternal life but also a supernatural power that could threaten the very fabric of the universe if it falls into the wrong hands. Mamuwalde must choose between his quest for a cure and the greater good of humanity, while the fate of the world hangs in the balance.
