Big Town Scandal is a 1948 Hollywood drama. The story is about a crusading editor named Steve Wilson. Wilson takes on the juvenile delinquents in the town. They are the ones responsible for the rising crime rate and other problems in the city. This was one of the first movies to address the issue of juvenile delinquency. Wilson is aided by follow reporter Lorelei Kilbourne. Kilbourne usually covers the police-beat. Wilson befriends five of the worst offenders and molds them into a basketball team. The leader of the gang is Tommy Malone. Some of the other characters include Skinny Peters, Dum Dum Riggs and Pinkie Jones.
