The businessman (played by Tariq Shah) is a strict disciplinarian and expects his employees to follow his rules.

As the story progresses, the friends face various challenges in their line of work. They also have to deal with personal issues such as love, jealousy, and misunderstandings. All the while, they are trying to maintain their employment so they can get by each day.

The movie has many funny moments and the chemistry between the four friends is excellent. Laxmikant Berde, famous for his comic timing, delivers some hilarious one-liners. Ashok Saraf, on the other hand, is the perfect foil to Berde, providing more subtle humor. Siddharth, a relative newcomer at the time, manages to hold his own among the veteran actors, providing some great laughs of his own.
