After the Ball is a fairy tale that features the story of Kate, a girl who dreams of becoming a designer. However, she is having difficulties finding a job due to the fact that she is the daughter of Lee Kassell. Lee sells clothes which are duplicates of clothes made by the same designers Kate was hoping to work for. Working in her father’s shop and with the help of a guy in the shoe department, she sets out to save her father’s business, which was being threatened by her wicked stepmother and two stepsisters.
