Watch 90 Miles

90 Miles is an American documentary film made by Juan Carlos Zaldívar that centers around his life in his early teenage years. Zaldivar was born in Cuba and grew up throughout the Cuban Revolution in the 1980's. Like many others, Zaldivar's family decided to flee the war torn country for a better life in the United States. His family boarded a boat and took the 90 mile journey to safety. This film explores the family's struggles to flee Cuba and make a new life for themselves in a new country.
