Nick Bromer is a professional scientist who travels to exotic regions of the world and brings back ancient artifacts. His latest assignment is in the remote jungle of Central America. Deep within the wooded confines of Belize, there lurks a mysterious gemstone that is said to impart magic abilities on its owner. When Bromer realizes that someone is spying on his camp, he must pick up everything and hide out for a few days. In the course of these events, he figures out what will be his true challenge: defeating a rebel gang of soldiers who are looking to capture him at all costs.
